  • Rehearsals, Tech Week, & Performance Expectations

Like with any team Practice Makes Performance Ready, and we need to know we can count on the whole team to be at rehearsals consistently (unless previously scheduled to be absent).

Cast members will need to be available for rehearsals after school, and also be able to put in personal time at home to learn & practice music, lines, and dance(s). Please be aware that while the musical is an after school experience, it will be necessary for some of our rehearsals to run beyond the after school bus schedule. Please take a look at the live rehearsal schedule for an idea of days/times here: MARY POPPINS SCHEDULE

Additionally, as we approach the final week before the production, we will need Cast & Crew to remain for some rehearsals into the evenings for Tech Week. These rehearsals are to allow our technical crew to finalize their processes, and to put finishing touches on our stage positions.

Finally, Cast are expected to be present at all performances of the show.

  • Family/Guardian Support Expectations

Our production cannot succeed without the support of parents/guardians & caregivers. First and foremost, we need your support for all the students involved in the show, regardless of role or ability. Second, we need you to support your student in the role they are assigned, including helping them with learning their lines, songs, or staging. Finally, we need your support helping to bring this production to life.

Minimally, we ask that each cast family provide at least one (1) adult volunteer to help in the lobby or backstage during at least one (1) performance of our show. This small effort allows all our parent volunteers to see at least one performance. If families are able to volunteer more help during production, we would greatly appreciate it. Please let us know below if you have any specific expertise that you would be willing to put to use on our behalf.

Our required family meeting will be held Tuesday October 21 at 6:30pm in the Parker cafeteria.

  • At least one (1) adult from our family will volunteer in the lobby or backstage during the following performance(s) of the show:
  • (The day you choose is not a binding choice, but will help us to estimate when people think they will be available during Show Nights.)
