Thanks for choosing Buttercream Boston! We're two sisters who share a love for baking and decorating cakes & we can't wait to make you a cake for your special day! All of our cakes are made from scratch and decorated with a vanilla buttercream. Please read our brand policies below before submitting your order.
- Please do not order a single-tier cake if you are planning on driving/transporting it for more than 90 minutes. Please do not order a two-tier cake if you are planning on driving/transporting it more than 30 minutes. Buttercream cakes are extremely fragile.
- If the date you want is not available, that means it's fully booked - cakes last in the fridge up to 4 days after pickup, so if your event date is booked, you can select a date up to 4 days before it.
- We require 7 days notice for all cake orders - late orders will be subject to a rush fee.
- We offer pickup Wedsnesday-Saturday in South Boston only - we do NOT deliver.
- Once you submit an order, we will email you within 72 hours with an order confirmation, price quote, and precise pick up location.
- Once you confirm the proposed price quote, we will send a reply email and an invoice which must be paid within 72 hours of receipt in order to secure your cake.
- We book month-to-month - order forms for new months will open on the 1st of the previous month.
- If you need to make a change to your order, please email us. We do not communicate about outstanding cake orders through Instagram.
RETURN POLICY: We offer a 30% refund on cake orders cancelled more than 2 weeks before pickup date. Cake orders cancelled within 2 weeks of pickup date are non-refundable.

Although we will do our very best to accommodate your dietary restrictions, all of our products are produced in a home kitchen that is not subject to public health inspection and may process common food allergens. Please be advised that baked goods may contain or come into contact with peanuts, tree nuts, or other allergens. All cake recipes include milk, eggs, and wheat. All buttercream recipes include milk.
