As a parent and community member, I am writing to share my support for The Heart of Riverdale.

The Heart is important to my family because it is a safe place where my children can grow, learn, and belong. It is a neighbourhood hub where young people connect through dance, music, visual arts, mentorship, and healthy meals. At The Heart, youth feel supported and cared for, and families feel connected to a larger community.

The Heart builds citizenship by helping young people grow into healthy, engaged adults. It strengthens wellbeing and provides safe alternatives during critical after-school hours. For many families like mine, it is not only an arts centre but a second home.

I ask that you recognize the essential role The Heart of Riverdale plays in Yukon and ensure it receives the stable funding needed to continue serving families now and into the future.
