  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    Please read the information below and fill out the application completely. Incomplete applications may result in a delay in receiving your rebate. 

    • You must be a Logan City Light and Power customer with an account in good standing to receive a rebate.
    • All equipment must be new and installed on, or prior to, the date of the application and after October 1, 2025 in an exisitng home (new construction homes are not eligible for incentive).
    • All required documents must be submitted online within 180 days of purchase.
    • Item must be installed within 90 days of purchase. 
    • All rebates are subject to available funds and will be serviced on a first-come, first-served basis.
    • There is a limit of four incentives of the same type per customer per calendar year.
    • Rebates are processed within 8 weeks of application submission.
      • All rebates $600 and below are issued as bill credit and will appear on the bill arriving the month after your rebate is processed.
      • Rebates that are more than $600 are processed as a check and you will need to submit a W-9 for tax purposes.
      • If you have applied for more than one rebate in a calendar year and they total more than $600, you willl need to submit a W-9.

    • Please make sure to upload a copy of the itemized receipt that indicates the manufacturer, model number, and purchase date on the receipt/invoice. It is very helpful if you can highlight or circle the eligible items on the receipt.
    • Work completed must comply with all building codes and standards when applicable.

  • Ensure home & equimpent qualifies for a Thermostat Rebate:

    • Electrically heated home’s current heating source must be an electric furnace or heat pump.
    • Electrically cooled home’s current cooling source must be a central air conditioner or heat pump.
    • Unit must be ENERGY STAR® certified and listed on the Qualified Smart Thermostats list at time of purchase.
    • Homes are eligible for two (2) smart thermostat rebates.
    • If the product cost is less than the offered rebate, the rebate will be capped at the product cost.
  • Ensure home & equimpent qualifies for a Heat Pump Dryer Rebate:

    • Unit must be on the Energy Star Qualified Heat Pump Clothes Dryer List at time of purchase.
    • Unit must be a minimum of 3 UCEF or greater but cannot exceed 8.0 UCEF.
    • Unit must have a capacity of 4.0 cubic feet or greater.
    • Unit must be an electrically heated vent-less dryer.
    • Home is eligible for one (1) heat pump clothes dryer rebate per service address.
    • All-in-one models are eligible for a rebate.
  • Ensure home & equimpent qualifies for a Whole House Fan rebate:

    • Must be an existing single family home, not new construction.
    • Must be a first-time installation and not a replacement for an existing fan.
    • Ventilation fan must be 2,000 CFM or greater and permanently installed in the upper floor.
    • Home’s cooling source must be a permanently installed central air conditioner.
    • Ventilation fan must be installed according to specifications outlined in the Utah Technical Specifications Manual.
    • Homes are eligible for one unit.
  • Ensure home & equimpent qualifies for a Heat Pump Water Heater rebate:

    • Must be an existing home
    • Previous water heater must have been an electric storage water heater (rebate does not apply when replacing an existing heat pump water heater or gas water heater).
    • Heat pump water heater must be on the Qualified Products list at the time of purchase.
    • Limit two heat pump water heater (2) rebates per service address.
    • Heat pump water heater can be any size.
    • Heat pump water heater must be installed according to the specifications outlined in the Utah Technical Specifications Manual
  • Ensure home & equimpent qualifies for a Window Air Conditioner rebate:

    • Must be an existing home
    • Window Air Conditioner must be Energy Star Qualified

I have read and agree to all above listed terms and conditions and acknowledge that Logan City may verify all information that I have provided. I understand that all rebates are subject to available funds and will be serviced on a first-come, first served basis.
