• 2027 Young Professionals Network Committee Member Application

  • The Mission of the Young Professionals Network (YPro) is to build relationships, develop professionally, become politically and philanthropically active, and contribute to the economic development and high quality of living or working in the Twin Cities.     The chambers involved in the Young Professionals Network for 2027 include the St. Paul Area Chamber, the Minneapolis Regional Chamber, the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Midway Chamber of Commerce, the Minnnesota Black Chamber of Commerce, the Oakdale Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce.

    Committee Member Expectations

    • Must be employed by an organization that is a member of of the St. Paul Area Chamber, the Minneapolis Regional Chamber, or a partner Chamber in good financial standing. 
    • Should be a good ambassador for the Chamber community and the Young Professionals Network.
    • Commit to a one-year term, January 2027 to December 2027. 
    • St. Paul Area Chamber members may only be on one committee at any given time.
    • Commit to attending a minimum of 8 of 10 monthly committee meetings, which occur the second Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. Meetings are 60 minutes long and will be a mix of virtual and in person.
    • Commit to attending a majority of the year's events, which occur every other month. Committee Members receive a $10 discount. (Must attend 4 of 6 events)
    • Help host events and connect with attendees – especially first-timers – to cultivate relationships, encourage participation and obtain feedback.
    • Actively promote the Young Professionals Network and events on social media and at other Chamber events to continuously grow the Young Professionals Network.
    • Speak up! Be a fully active and engaged member of the committee by sharing your opinions.
