AuroraWalks 2026 - APRIL 18th - Volunteer Sign-Up
We are excited to host our 8th annual AuroraWalks with a goal of raising $225,000 to make our camp and year-round programs a reality. This is a family fun event featuring an opening ceremony, music, games, arts and crafts and a short 3/4 mile course. We are expecting 300 attendees.
Location
Concourse Perimeter Parkway, 4 Concourse Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30328. Family Fun Activities will take place in the grassy area next to Building 4. Please use parking decks for Buildings 1 or 4 (free parking).

General Volunteer Shifts
We need lots of volunteers to make AuroraWalks 2026 a success. Volunteers will receive an email reminder the week of the event with specific details. We greatly appreciate you signing up for as many volunteer shifts as you are available.

April 17th: Pre-Event Set-Up Crew (4-8pm; pizza provided).
April 18th: Set-Up Crew (6-8am) - Volunteers will help set up the walk event and walk route before walkers arrive.
April 18th: General Walk Volunteer (8am-12pm) - Volunteers will help with a variety of assignments such as the t-shirt tent, check in, water stations, wayfinding, and event breakdown.
April 18th: Aurora Family Fun Area Sponsors and Volunteers (8am-12pm) - Businesses, organizations and groups are needed to sponsor and oversee activity tables. If you'd like to run a specific activity, please fill out the next section with your activity idea (you will need to provide the supplies). Otherwise, volunteers will be assigned to an existing activity.
April 18th: Entertainment (Costume Characters, Balloon Artist, Face Painters, etc.).
April 18th: Clean-Up Crew (11am-1pm) - Volunteers will help clean up the walk event and reload supplies onto trucks.

I hereby give permission to the Sunrise Association (DBA Aurora Day Camp) to take photographs and/or recordings of me/my family, and to use them in original or modified form in all media now or hereafter, with or without my name/my family’s name or information about me/my family, for the promotion, public education, and/or fundraising activities of the Sunrise Association and all of it’s entities noted above. I will receive no compensation for the above. I agree to release the Sunrise Association, and all of its officers, directors, agents, employees, independent contractors, licensees and assignees from all claims now or in the future, relating to the above. I agree that Sunrise Association will be the sole owners of all tangible and intangible rights in the above-mentioned photographs and recordings, with full power of disposition.

I acknowledge and agree that participation in various Aurora Day Camp activities by me, my child(ren) or other family members, including but not limited to recreational and physical activities on the grounds of Aurora, in the community, or elsewhere, such as sports games; athletics; walkathons; hikes; bicycling; interactions with animals; “challenge” activities such as climbing, ropes courses or polar bear swims; and day and overnight trips (including transportation in connection therewith), contain inherent and potential physical and psychological risks, both foreseeable and unforeseeable, and I hereby agree not to sue and to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless Aurora, its officers, directors, agents, employees, and volunteers, from any and all responsibility, liability or expenses relating to physical injury or other harm to me, my child(ren) or other family members, to the fullest extent permitted by law.* I understand that specific risks vary from one activity to another and that the risks may range from minor to major injuries. I freely assume said risks and any resulting expenses or liability for me and on behalf of my child(ren) and other family members to the fullest extent permitted by law.* I acknowledge that I have read, and that I fully understand, this Release, Hold Harmless and Assumption of Risk and that I agree to it.
