We are excited to continue our Adult Recreational Mixed Ability Basketball Sessions at Nechells Wellbeing Centre!

These sessions are open to both male and female players who want to:

Develop fundamentals
Stay active
Enjoy the game in a friendly and welcoming environment

Schedule

Season Start: Tuesday, 7th October 2025

Day & Time: Every Tuesday, 9:00 – 10:30pm

Season End: Tuesday, 28th July 2026

Please arrive by 8:50pm

Costs

Price per session on the door: £7
Monthly payments (based on number of Tuesdays in each month):

Important Notes:

- Payments must be made online in advance
- No individual session bookings are available online
- No refunds or transfers for missed sessions
- If sessions are full, please do not turn up on the day, as no on-the-door payments will be accepted

Health & Safety Declaration

All participants must complete a health and injury declaration before attending sessions. This ensures the coaching staff can provide a safe environment for everyone.

Please inform us of:

- Any existing medical conditions (e.g., heart conditions, asthma, diabetes)
- Recent injuries or surgeries that may affect your participation
- Any medications that may need to be considered during sessions

⚠️ By attending sessions, participants confirm that they are fit to take part in basketball activities and understand that participation is at their own risk.

Membership

All participants are required to register as a club member.

Membership Fee: £70

This covers:

- A training kit (Rockets reversible vest and shorts)
- £5 vouchers to use on game nights
- Administrative fees and court bookings

- 10 % at our partners at McArthurGlen

- Administrative fees and court bookings

Membership is valid for 12 months from registration.

Acknowledgment, Liability Waiver & Consent*

I, the undersigned the above participant, do hereby grant the authority to the staff of the City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball Club to apply judgment in regards to medical assistance in the event of an accident, injury, or illness if they are unable to contact the parent or guardian. I authorise first aid, a medical or surgical diagnosis and treatment which may deem necessary.I, the undersigned, release the City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball Club and any of its coaches, staff, manager, and/or any parent for any responsibility in case of accident, illness, or injury during my child’s enrolment.I, the undersigned, understand that the will no longer transfer funds to future sessions if participants do not attend.
CONSENT FOR THE USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS/ VIDEO AND NAMES*

I understand that the Club coaches may at times be using video recording to assist in technical and gameplay analysis and that opposing clubs may also wish to video for the same purposes.I understand that photographs may be taken and used on our website/social media with the use of the names of those captured in the images. I will inform the Club if I have an objection and do not to be photographed for this purpose.I consent to City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball Club photographing and videoing my basketball activities and also using full names on our website/social media.
