Welcome to Girls in STEM! In this program, Museum educators work with girls in 3rd-5th grade to deliver engaging STEM activities developed by Techbridge Girls. Students are encouraged to explore a wide range of hands-on STEM activities designed to relate STEM concepts to the world around them.

Please complete and submit one form per student.

This program runs once a week for 90 minutes, for 13 weeks (November-April with a break for holidays and the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.)

Girls in STEM is limited to 15 girls per class, and registration is first-come, first-served.

Girls In STEM will take place at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons from 4:00-5:30 PM

The first day of class is November 4th or November 6th. You will receive a confirmation email with detailed information/calendar upon successful completion of enrollment.

While we understand illness and unforeseen circumstances arise, this program is dependent on relationship building amongst the girls, and lessons build upon each other from week to week. By registering, you are committing to attend each week. These classes have a lengthy waitlist. If your student is absent for more than 2 consecutive weeks, they will forfeit their spot, and it will be given to a student on the waitlist.

Caregivers are responsible for transportation to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, as well as pick up from the Museum.

Thanks to generous Museum supporters, this program is FREE to all participants.

FWMSH will provide snacks and water to all participants each time we meet. Please list any special dietary needs and/or allergies below.

If your child requires an Epi-Pen and/or Benadryl, please bring the medication in a clear zip-lock bag. The bag and all medication should be labeled with your child's first and last name. You will give the medication to the classroom teachers when you sign your student in and take with you at pick up. If you do not already have a FARE allergy action plan on file, please complete and email it to dmackey@fwmsh.org ASAP.

Please specify each person (including parents/caretakers) who has permission to pick up your student. Students will only be released to the persons listed below. If you need to make changes to your pick-up list, please email dmackey@fwmsh.org.

An Enrollment Form is required for all participants.
Parents/Caregivers are responsible for transporting their students to and picking them up from the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.
Each session begins at 4:00 and ends promptly at 5:30 p.m.
The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History reserves the right to deny
participation to students who exhibit persistent behaviors that endanger themselves or others.
If a participant becomes ill during class, the parent/guardian will be notified to pick up the student.
Photos or videos of participants may be taken for archival and/or promotional purposes by the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. No identification of participants will be used.
The program is limited to 15 participants per class. Enrollment is on a first come first served basis.

Missing three or more consecutive class sessions will result in the student losing their enrolled spot, which will then be offered to a student on the waitlist.
