The NADIIIAA Emerging and Transitioning Athletics Administrator Awards recognize involvement and/or leadership roles on campus or in the conference office. Assistant and Associate Directors, and Senior Women Administrators are eligible for the awards.
An honoree for each award will be selected and presented with a $1,000 professional development grant.

Criteria and Eligibility:
The Emerging Athletics Administrator award includes the following criteria:
1. Is an active member of NADIIIAA
2. Has five (5) or fewer years cumulative experience as a titled athletics administrator
3. Is employed full-time at a Division III institution or conference office
4. Is employed as a titled athletics administrator with substantial and/or primary responsibilities related to the administration of the athletics department
5. Demonstrates involvement and/or leadership roles on campus and in the community (specific examples should be provided)
6. Demonstrates a commitment to professional development
7. Selection will focus on the work and responsibility of the individual as an administrator
The Transitioning Athletics Administrator award includes the following criteria:
1. Active member of NADIIIAA
2. Employed full-time at a Division III institution or conference office
3. Formal /official administrator title not required, though evidence of impactful administrative tasks and responsibilities should be outlined in nomination
4. Demonstrates involvement and/or leadership roles on campus and in the community (examples should be included)
5. Demonstrates a commitment to professional development
6. Emphasis in the nomination should be targeted towards value of administrative tasks and duties in the athletics program
7. Open to any staff member satisfying the above criteria; no limit on years of service
