1. Who are your greatest influences and why? (PTs/Chiros/Strength Coaches/Mentors?)
2. How would you describe your treatment philosophy?
3. What are things you disagree with in the PT and chiro industry?
4. Explain some history taking questions you would prioritize in an individual who presents with L-sided achilles discomfort when they started increasing their running mileage and speed. They are an avid runner and plan to run the Boston Marathon, so they have big goals.
5. How would you describe to a patient the multifactorial nature of their low back pain, since you ruled out red flags or anything structural?
6. What type of assessments would you want to perform for a CrossFit athlete who reports anterior knee pain with full depth squats, step downs, and forward lunges.
7. What type of assessments would you want to perform for a weekend warrior who has always been fearful of deadlifts and hinging in general. Their typical workout program involves running, upper body lifting, squats, walking lunges, leg press, and leg extensions.
7a. For the above patient, what type of conversation would you have about their current workout program and how to make it better?
8. A patient doesn't understand why you aren't performing only dry needling, e-stim, ultrasound, or manual therapy during their sessions with you at Old Bull. How would you explain why your approach is movement based?
9. How would you explain to a patient why imaging isn’t always necessary for low back pain, and why not all pain = tissue damage?
10. What are your top 3 biggest “takeaways” you hope a patient has from after an initial evaluation with you?
11. What does your own training currently look like?
12. What is a preferred timeline for you to start at Old Bull Athletics?
13. Anything else you’d like to share with us about your interest in Old Bull Athletics, your career goals, and passions?

1. Who are your greatest influences and why? (PTs/Chiros/Strength Coaches/Mentors?)
2. How would you describe your training philosophy?
3. What are the things you disagree with in the training industry?
4. You have a new client who is an avid runner and wants to integrate strength training to support their running goals. What are questions you’d prioritize in learning more about them and their running background and how you can best support their goals with strength training?
5. A client has a history of low back pain and is fearful of deadlifting. How would you navigate this conversation and find an entry point for this client?
6. A client comes to you with goals of improving bone mineral density. What are key elements of a strength and conditioning program you would put together for them?
7. A client reports general anterior knee pain with squatting. What are questions you would ask to rule in/out red flags and the need for a referral to a rehab provider?
7a. For the above client, what kind of components would you integrate in a training session for them that a) does not irritate their knee pain and b) would be an entry point for a squat pattern.
8. A client doesn’t understand why every training session isn’t taken to failure with minimal rest and with only high intensity work. How would you explain why this is the case?
9. What are your top 3 biggest “takeaways” you hope a client has from after an initial evaluation with you?
10. What does your own training currently look like?
