Saint Joseph Academy Music Scholarship Application Class of 2030

2026-2027 School Year
A limited number of renewable Music scholarships of varying amounts will be awarded to students for vocal and instrumental music.

This application must be submitted online and is due by Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

Please review the application thoroughly by reading the PDF version of the scholarship first. Once you start the application process online, you must complete and submit the application; you will not be able to save it and finish it later.
Criteria:
1. Demonstrate previous involvement in music.
2. Must have a minimum of a "B" grade average in Music.
3. Enroll in a Music course during the 2026-2027 academic year or be involved in a Performing Arts co-curricular.
4. To be renewed, the applicant must maintain a minimum GPA of a "B" in the enrolled Music course(s) or be involved in a Performing Arts co-curricular.
Requirements:
1. Ensure your music teacher submits the Pre-Audition Assessment. Saint Joseph Academy will send the assessment form directly to your teacher for completion once your Music Scholarship form is received.
2. Submit a recorded audition on the student's major instrument or voice by November 7, 2025 to Mr. Brian Patton at bpatton@sja1890.org.
Audition:

The recorded audition involves the performance of a solo and supplement material on the student's major instrument or voice within the following guidelines:
1. Auditions may be performed with or without accompaniment.
2. Length of audition should be two to four minutes and showcase your range and ability.
3. Attach a PDF of the sheet music to the email containing your recording.
4. Instrumentalists must perform a Major scale of their choice, as well as a chromatic scale starting on the note of their choice.
