    We have paid positions available for our moving crew and event staff. If you do sign up for one of these positions, we will contact you before your spot is confirmed.

    Please note: 

    • Paid MOVER positions are ONLY for individuals who can do heavy lifting (75lbs+) and move large furniture. 
    • Paid Event Staff positions require experience with POS systems and a high level of customer interaction.

  • Moving Shifts (Paid)
    ***MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 75+lbs.***

    This role  includes lifting, unloading, transporting, and setting up heavy equipment and furniture.

    This is a multi-day gig! On event set up days, movers also assemble the market stations including assembling canopies, umbrellas, tables, and positioning furniture and band equipment.  You can sign up for one or more shifts, working any combination of the following days:

  • Event Staff Shifts (Paid)


    We are looking for a limited number of paid event staff roles. The role requires excellent customer service skills, comfort using a POS, and handling cash / making change.  People in these positions need to be proactive, communicative, and willing to take on a variety of tasks to ensure a positive event experience for everyone.  You may need to train volunteers and assist with shift changes.  The role involves a lot of talking and standing and there will be a high amount of guest interaction. You can sign up for one or more shifts.

  • Payment

    You will need to sign in / out on a provided time sheet to track your hours. Payment will be processed as a lump sum within a week of the final moving shift after the event. Our preferred methods are Venmo or Zelle. While we can also issue checks but this requires additional coordination and may involve picking up payment at our office after the event is completed. 

  • Important Tax Information

    As a paid mover/ event staff member, you'll be considered a temporary worker/ independent contractor for tax purposes. This means we'll need you to complete a W-9 form if we don’t currently have one on file for you for the current tax year.

     

    Why do we need a W-9?

    The W-9 form collects your taxpayer information, like your name and Social Security Number (SSN). We need this to comply with IRS regulations for reporting payments made to non-employees. Completing the W-9 upfront is a standard process that helps us prepare for all scenarios and ensures we're compliant from the get-go.
