2019 Meritage Red Blend From the Winemaker: A Sierra Foothill blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petite Verdot. Aged 24 months in French oak, 25% new. Aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry and oak. Bright acidity with flavors of tart cherry, pomegranate and currant. Restrained and elegant. Perfect with grilled lamb chops.
2023 Viognier Tasting Notes: This is a friendly, expressive Viognier: fruit-forward enough to be fun, but with enough structure and finish to feel grown-up. If you like wines that are aromatic, softly textured, and a little floral with ripened stone-fruit richness, this one delivers nicely.
FROM THE WINEMAKER: Fragrant notes of elderflower, guava and mint jump out of the glass, followed by hints of oregano and thyme layered with passionfruit and citrus. This in-your-face drop captures the essence of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Concentrated citrusy notes of lime zest and tropical guava combine with a lick of wet stones. 2024 Cardonnay Tasting Notes: Medium-bodied, smooth yet lively. The fruit flavours mirror the nose: green apple and pear up front, then a bit of white peach or nectar-tinged stone fruit.
