MFT is here to Lend a Hand to those who have served our country and their families.
ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND & MISSION

MFT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to supporting our military community. Our mission is to provide financial relief focused on improving the quality of life of our military community and their families. Our goal is to fund meaningful applications to help veterans and their families navigate through difficult times and recognize the sacrifices made by our military members, veterans, and their families. MFT offers funding to active military, retired military, and military veterans in need of financial assistance.
FUNDING AID OFFERED

A one-time award of up to $1,000 is available to assist with a financial need. Examples of acceptable funding requests:
- Rent, mortgage or other housing payments
- Temporary housing/security deposits
- Utility bills (electric, heat, water)
- Medical expenses not covered by insurance– including medical equipment o Home repairs/services to maintain livability
- Travel requests considered will be those required for specialized medical care or for a military parent to attend their child’s military graduation
- Auto Expenses (related to necessary travel)
MFT will not consider applications seeking funds for legal fees or credit debt, monthly payments, and things like that. Once applications are submitted, the MFT Board will meet to review. Applications are reviewed on an a monthly basis, and Emergency funding requests will be reviewed upon receipt. Applications are not automatically approved; and supporting documentation is required. All information provided in the application to MFT will remain confidential.
