Our orientation took place this past Saturday, 31 January 2026. If you unfortunately missed this compulsory orientation, please make contact with our office to arrange for a mini-orientation. It is compulsory for every newly registered student to attend this mini-orientation before they can start with their classes.

INCLUSIVE EDUCATION NQF LEVEL 5 NATIONAL HIGHER CERTIFICATE

Those that already have a NQF Level 5 Diploma in ECD, or, anyone holding a professional post-matric accredited qualification ( B.Ed HDE; B.Ed Foundation Phase; BSoc; etc)

The National Certificate: Inclusive Education (SAQA ID: 59429, NQF Level 5) is designed to equip practitioners with the skills and knowledge necessary to support learners experiencing barriers to learning within inclusive educational settings. This qualification prepares students to create and manage inclusive learning environments, ensuring that all learners have equitable access to education.

The primary objectives of this qualification are to:
- Enable practitioners to screen and identify potential barriers and strengths in learners.
- Facilitate and support inclusive learning activities tailored to diverse needs.
- Differentiate curricula, including assessment tools, to accommodate various learning requirements.
- Adapt learning and teaching support materials, incorporating assistive devices and e-learning resources.
- Collaborate with internal and external service providers to enhance inclusivity.
This qualification is particularly useful for educators, teacher assistants, rehabilitation workers, house parents, and professionals responsible for providing support in inclusive settings, such as district personnel, therapists, social workers, and childcare workers.
