Key Considerations
The participant is able to complete a self-sufficient expedition carrying all their kit, food, tents and Trangia stoves in a rucksack (on average weighing 12-14kg), walking for approximately eight hours per day, cooking as a team, and camping overnight in tents.
The participant must take responsibility for their own health and safety as they will not be directly supervised for parts of the expeditions. They may encounter certain risks integral to the expedition section. These risks are likely to include (without limitation) walking on rough terrain, changeable weather, extended physical effort and feeling uncomfortable and tired. Self-reliance and completing expeditions with minimal external intervention is required.

Expedition Dates
The participant is available for the expedition dates booked. Once booked, these dates will be subject to the cancellation and refund fees stated in our Booking Terms and Conditions.

Medical Declaration
It is your responsibility to ensure all medical conditions relating to the participant are fully declared. Activ reserves the right to exclude the participant from any event if any known medical conditions are not fully declared.
In the event of an accident you give consent to any necessary emergency treatment to be given by the medical authorities present. You also authorise the leader(s) to sign, on your behalf, any written form of consent required, provided that in the opinion of the doctor/surgeon any delay could endanger the health and safety of the participant.

Agreement
You and the participant have read and accept the requirement for all participants to adhere to our Code of Conduct.
You have read and understood our Booking Terms and Conditions paying special attention to the cancellation and insurance sections.

Travel
No travel costs are included in the programme. Activ will provide location and meet details and encourage teams to travel together. Participants are registered by Activ instructors on arrival to the expedition area and are signed out at the end of the expedition to return home.
