Vandergrift Christmas Kick-Off Parade

We are excited to invite your organization, group, or business to participate in this community parade. Fire companies, dance studios, churches, organizations and businesses are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Please complete the information below to register fo the parade. Prizes will be awarded for the best float, group, and best decorated fire/emergency vehicle. First place in each category will receive $250 and second place $100. Organizations must be pre-registered to be considered for a prize. Judging will take place at the corner of Franklin and Grant Avenues.

We wish to be entered into the following category for awards:

I/We understand that absolutely no throwing of candy or treats will be permitted. This has proven to be unsafe for spectators and damaging to the street pavement. Helpers may walk along side your vehicle/float/group to hand treats directly to parade viewers. Your cooperation is required to keep this a safe event.

I/we understand that the parade will form at 5PM adjacent to Kennedy Park. All participants must arrive by 5:30PM to march. Specific location information will be provided to all participants. The parade will follow the traditional route, dispersing at Grant Ave. and Sumner Ave. (adjacent to the Borough Building.)
