Custom Rug Request
For our bespoke custom rugs, we offer two design styles: Standard and Complex. Below are examples of each, showcasing the range of simplicity or details available. Both styles can be crafted in Soft Acrylic Fiber or New Zealand Wool, allowing you to select the material that best suits your space.
- Soft Acrylic Fiber Yarn: Smooth, resilient, and approachable, with a refined texture that highlights clean, graphic patterns and vibrant color contrasts.
- New Zealand Wool: Renowned for its softness and durability, New Zealand Wool sets the standard for premium rugs. Its rich, natural texture and color depth enhance intricate designs, creating timeless, one-of-a-kind pieces.
  - Please note: rugs crafted with New Zealand wool may require an additional 2–3 weeks for completion, allowing time for careful material sourcing and consistent color and quality assurance.

Process:

Each custom piece begins with a consultation and preliminary sketches, with the final rug crafted upon approval. Workplace Romance rugs are typically completed within 4–12 weeks depending on size, design, and material. Each piece is crafted in the order commissions are received, with a more precise timeline provided following your consultation.

Rush orders are accommodated with an additional fee, determined by the rug’s material, size and design.

We do not produce rugs that replicate existing intellectual property or photorealistic imagery. Every design is made to reflect the distinctive Workplace Romance style, and we may respectfully decline projects that don’t align with our brand. Custom rug spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If your submission makes it into this cycle, we’ll send a Stripe link for payment. Otherwise, you’ll be added to our priority waitlist and contacted once a spot opens up.
Payments & Refunds
All projects require advance payment prior to initiation. In the event of a change in direction, clients are entitled to a full refund during the consultation stage, or an 85% refund once preliminary sketches have been delivered. Once production has commenced, refunds are no longer available.
