What are Heart of the Cumberland's Community Groups and what is the role of a Volunteer Co-Facilitator?
Community Groups provide Christ-centered, peer-supported spaces where adults, teens, and children can process grief and loss. Volunteers serve as co-facilitators in groups such as Men’s, Women’s, Widows, Brave Moms, Pregnancy & Infant Loss, Survivors of Suicide Loss, and youth programs (grades 2–12). By coming alongside participants with compassion and care, volunteers help create a safe place for healing and hope.
