2026 Precollege Summer Programs Application
Summer Camp Overview:
The Wisconsin School of Business (WSB) Precollege Programs provide both school-year workshops and summer camps designed to help high school students deepen their interest in business.

Your application will be considered for one of the two following precollege summer camps, according to your current grade level.

WSB Precollege Summer Camps:
- Business Basics, June 15, 2026–June 18, 2026: 4-day, in-person program designed for rising 9th and 10th graders. Students must be in grades 8th and 9th at the time of submitting camp application. Participants will explore undergraduate programs at the Wisconsin School of Business (WSB) while developing key skills in communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking through an entrepreneurial challenge. Students will also have the opportunity to meet WSB professors and staff, engage in hands-on activities, and build personal, professional, and community connections.
- Junior Business Badgers, Session 1: June 22, 2026–June 25, 2026 or Session 2: June 29, 2026–July 2, 2026: 4-day, in-person program for rising 11th and 12th graders. Students must be in grades 10th and 11th at the time of submitting camp application. Participants will explore various business career pathways and reflect on their personal identity through a guided essay workshop. The camp includes career networking events, field trips to local businesses, and insights into career development services at the Wisconsin School of Business, culminating in a project according to the field.
WSB Precollege Summer camps are non residential. This means that WSB Precollege Programs will not provide overnight housing during the duration of the 4 day camps or provide transportation to and from UW-Madison campus. WSB Precollege Programs will provide meals, snacks, activity supplies, access to faculty and college mentors, and cover all field trip expenses, which include admission fees and transportation.

Enrollment Fee: Upon receiving acceptance to Precollege Summer Camp, parents/guardians must provide additional student information, sign activity waivers and provide payment for the enrollment fee. A one time, nonrefundable, enrollment fee payment of $25 must be paid in full by May 15th. Financial assistance may be available for families who are unable to pay this fee. - December 1st - April 30th: Submit Summer Camp Application materials. Materials include online application and short question response. Acceptance to summer camp will be offered on a rolling basis.
- May 15th: Deadline to complete waivers and pay enrollment fee

Participant Eligibility:
Students must commit to attending the entire precollege activity and meet all of the requirements below in order to receive enrollment priority:
- Be a current high school student during summer camp
- Qualify for free or reduced school lunch or identify as First Generation, meaning that the student would be the first in their immediate family to attend a four year college
High School students who do not qualify for free or reduced lunch or identify as First Generation are still encouraged to apply. Students will be waitlisted and contacted as space is available.
