2025-2026 Ascend Foundation Scholarship in Partnership with Synchrony Financial

Scholarship Application Information

As part of the Education as an Equalizer initiative, Synchrony Financial is proud to partner with Ascend to offer these scholarships to deserving and qualified students.

Synchrony Financial is providing 4 scholarships at $10,000 each.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a current student
- Must be a domestic student (Legal U.S. Resident)
- Open to undergraduate students only
- 3.5 GPA minimum
- Major in finance, accounting, engineering, computer science or information technology
Membership and Application Requirements
- Active Ascend Student Membership at time of application
- Upload supporting documents - resume, transcript
- Complete online application, including personal essays

Please make sure that you are eligible for the scholarships you are applying for. Incomplete and ineligible applicants will not be considered. Preference would be given to students who demonstrate financial need.

Application Deadline: January 31, 2026 at 11:59pm EST / 8:59pm PST

Scholarship winners will be announced by end of April 2026
