IDRONE REU-AUV
The REU Site at the University of Idaho will offer an 10-week hands-on experience on autonomous unmanned vehicles (AUVs), tentatively termed "REU-AUV" program (8 weeks in person and 2 weeks online) during summer 2026. Qualifications: Applicants should be rising juniors or seniors majoring in engineering fields such as aerospace, mechanical, electrical, software engineering, or computer science. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Desired Skills and Experience: Experience with PCB design, Python programming, 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks), and firmware development. Familiarity with AI-based vision sensors is highly preferred.
