Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Germany Alumnae Chapter 2025-2026 Scholarship Application

This is the scholarship application for the Germany Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., which is a public service organization comprised of mostly minority African American women. Germany Alumnae Chapter has awarded an average of $20,000 in scholarships to deserving DoDEA students, annually.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
- Application must be received NLT February 3, 2026 by midnight CET.
- Incomplete or late applications will NOT be considered.
- Faxed copies will NOT be accepted.
- Hand-delivered applications will NOT be accepted.
- Mailed applications will NOT be accepted.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Applicant must be a graduating senior at a DODEA Europe East or Europe Central High School located in Germany
- The application must be complete and typed.
- Application must be received NLT February 3, 2026 by midnight CET.
- If awarded a scholarship, the applicant must be present at the award ceremony to accept his/her scholarship award.
- Applicant must attend an accredited institution of higher education, beginning in the Fall 2026.
A COMPLETE PACKET CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING:
- A complete and signed application
- Personal data sheet (extra-curricular, community activities, awards & honors)
- Official High School Transcript which includes first semester grades of the senior year (must be signed by a certified official authority)
- Two letters of recommendation (1 Teacher or Administrator; AND 1 Community Service or Work Experience) Please note: ONLY one from each category.
- Essay- One page typed, double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font
- Photo of yourself (No proofs, cell phone, personality, or scanned photos)
