HITEC Eligibility Criteria - Call for Presentations 2026
Thank you for your interest in presenting at HITEC San Antonio. HFTP and the HITEC Advisory Council are committed to providing a high-quality, educational, and vendor-neutral content for our attendees. To ensure this standard is upheld, all potential proposals and presenters must meet the following eligibility criteria for HITEC 2026.
Eligibility Criteria for Session Proposal Consideration
Is your day-to-day role primarily focused on products, services, or commercial interests?
Is your company’s primary business selling products or services to this audience?
If you answered yes to any of the above, are you able to make a vendor-neutral and non-sellable presentation?
Please review and confirm your agreement with the following eligibility statements:
Original Content – The presentation I intend to submit will feature original content developed by me (and any co-presenters). This session will be thoughtfully designed to address the interests, needs, and priorities of HITEC San Antonio attendees, ensuring a unique and relevant experience for the audience.
Educational Focus - I confirm that my proposed session will be designed solely for educational purposes at HITEC San Antonio and will provide value to attendees through insights, strategies, best practices, or research relevant to the hospitality and technology industries.
Vendor Neutrality - I confirm that my presentation will be free of ANY and ALL product promotions, sales pitches, or endorsements of specific companies, products, or services. I understand that educational sessions at HITEC must not serve as a marketing platform of any kind.
Editorial Rights and Session Adjustments - I acknowledge and agree that HFTP and the HITEC Advisory Council reserve the right to edit or adjust session titles, descriptions, learning objectives, and speaker selections to ensure alignment with the overall educational goals, audience needs, and program standards of the event. I understand that such changes will be made in collaboration with the presenter whenever possible.
Respect for Conference Standards - I agree to comply with the code of conduct guidelines of HITEC and understand that violating these standards may disqualify my submission or result in removal from the program.

This summary should focus on the educational value to attendees, without mention of specific products, services, or commercial interests.
