Artists, Writers, and/or Crafters who created the work must be present at the event to sell their work; i.e. you may not use a Creator space to represent a third-party.

To host as many creators as possible, creators may only purchase one space at the $75 rate. If you require more than one space due to the volume of artwork and/or merchandise you are selling, you must apply as a vendor.

Each space is approximately 10' X 10' and includes one (1) 8' X 30" table, two (2) chairs, and two (2) Creator badges for entry. You will need to purchase regular admissions for any additional helpers beyond the included two badges.

Banners and displays may not be taller than 10' high (including the height of the table for tabletop displays) and may not extend into aisles or others' space.

Complimentary lunch is provided for Creators.

Creators purchasing a second table will be given corner (end of ailse) placement on a first come, first served basis when paid. Purchasing a second table does not guarantee a corner (end of ailse) placement. We cannot issue refunds in the event that we are unable to give you a corner placement. We will post a notice when corner placements are filled.

The Creator selection process is done by a jury of volunteers. Please include the jury and promotional materials indicated on the third page of this application. Failure to provide the jurying materials will result in your application being rejected as incomplete.

All Creators accepted to exhibit at MNCBA SpringCon 2026 will be emailed an invoice for payment. You will then have seven (7) days to make payment before your space is offered to the next in line. Failure to complete your payment within seven (7) days of receiving your invoice may result in the loss of your Creator space. If you are mailing your payment, do not send cash. It is recommended that you purchase tracking for payments made by mail. The MNCBA is not responsible for lost or missing mail payments.

You may apply to share a Creator space with one (1) other Creator. Applications for both Creators must be submitted within the same day, will be juried together as a pair, and will be invoiced jointly as one payment. No split payments.

Creators shall at all times protect, indemnify, save, and keep harmless the Minnesota Comic Book Association, its members, volunteers, the MN State Fairgrounds in its entirety, against any and all form of loss, cost damage, liability or expense. Including that which arises out of, or from, or by any reason of or act or omission by retailer/dealer, his employees or agents, SpringCon attendees/participants, MNCBA staff, volunteers, owners, or the staff of the MN State Fairgrounds. All spaces/tables sales are final. Retailers/Vendors may not assign this contract or any right hereunder nor sublet or license any or all portion of its space without the prior written consent of the MNCBA, which consent shall be in the MNCBA's sole discretion. The signing of this form and participation in SpringCon, indicates your full and complete Understanding and 100% acceptance of the stated terms.

The MNCBA prohibits at its events the display and/or sale of all art, merchandise, and other works created using generative AI. This includes headshots, biographies, and other marketing materials. The MNCBA AI policy can be read here.

By signing this agreement you agree to abide by the MNCBA's generative AI policy. You certify that generative AI has not been used in the creation of the work you intend to display/sell, nor in the process of filling out and submitting this application.

You understand that the display/use of generative AI materials may result in removal without refund and/or being permanently banned from MNCBA events.

Promotion on the MNCBA social media accounts is not guaranteed, and is contingent upon promotional materials that meet MNCBA format and quality standards being submitted at the time of application.

Even if these materials do not meet our specifications for public promotional materials, all creator applications must include them to move on to the jury process.

To keep our promotional materials fresh and engaging for our online audience, we ask that you submit new and/or the most up-to-date materials possible each time you apply to an MNCBA event. We want to promote you, so show us the best you've got!

Applications must be submitted by 25 April 2026 and paid in full by 1 May 2026 to be eligible for promotion on the MNCBA social media accounts.
