We proudly support the small guys, the quiet achievers, the mums, dads and caregivers doing it all, the volunteers who show up without being asked, the businesses who go above and beyond, and the people who make our schools, clubs and neighbourhoods stronger.

By registering, you gain access to:

    • Piece Of Cake Community Champion Awards: Annual awards recognising youth leaders, small businesses, volunteers, coaches, teachers, support staff, after-school programs, performers, disability & aged-care teams, and everyday community heroes.

It’s completely free to join and helps us connect you with opportunities that support, uplift and empower our community.

  • Volunteer

For individuals offering their time at no cost to assist at community events and activities
  • Important Information for Volunteers Under 18 & Parent / Guardian Consent

If you are under 18, you are welcome to register your interest as a volunteer. However, for safety and legal reasons you will not be placed in roles that require licences or formal clearances, such as security work, driving or transport support, or any role where you are solely responsible for another person’s safety or personal care. You may still be able to help with general event support such as set up and pack down, greeting attendees, helping at stalls, or assisting under supervision at suitable activities.

If you are under 18: please read this carefully and type the following sentence into the required text box:
“I am under 18 and I understand that I cannot volunteer in restricted roles and will only be placed in age-appropriate, supervised activities.”

The volunteer you are registering is under 18 years of age. A parent or guardian must provide consent for participation.

Please copy and paste the statement below into the text box underneath, and fill in the details:

“I, [Full Parent/Guardian Name], am the parent/guardian of [Volunteer’s Full Name]. I consent to them registering as a volunteer with Piece Of Cake Events and give permission for them to participate in age-appropriate, supervised activities organised by Piece Of Cake Events at the event [Event Name]. I understand I may be contacted if required. My contact number is [Your Phone Number].”

✔ After copying this statement into the text field below, please replace the bracketed details with your own information.

  • Powered by Jotform SignClear
  • This information helps us identify volunteers or providers who may be able to assist with first aid or emergency support at community events. You will never be assigned to a first aid or emergency role without your consent.

If you are unsure of your certification level or expiry date, please write “Unsure”. We may request a copy of your certificate later for verification.

  • First Aid Officer / First Aid Support

“For qualified first aiders providing event first aid, CPR support or medical supervision.”
  • Piece Of Cake Community Volunteer Recognition Program

Piece Of Cake Events proudly recognises the volunteers who bring kindness, support and strength to our community. Volunteers play a vital role in schools, sporting clubs, community groups, events, charities, neighbourhood activities and everyday acts of service that often go unnoticed.

This program celebrates individuals aged 12+ who generously give their time, effort and heart to help others — whether through event support, coaching, assisting children, helping elderly community members, organising activities, contributing to fundraisers, or providing skills behind the scenes.

As part of the Piece Of Cake Community Champion Awards & Gala Night, volunteers may be considered for several recognition opportunities. Final award categories will be announced closer to the presentation event, but may include areas such as:

    • Community Volunteer of the Year
    • Youth Volunteer Award
    • Long-Term Service & Dedication
    • Outstanding Event or Club Support
    • Quiet Achiever / Behind-the-Scenes Contribution
    • Acts of Kindness & Community Spirit
    • + Additional categories to be announced

If you would like to participate or nominate a volunteer, please follow the nomination link at the end of the form.

  • Businesses / Organisations

For registered businesses, service providers & stalls offering paid products or services.
  • Important Information for All Contributors, Organisations & Services

By completing this registration form, you are expressing your interest in supporting local schools, P&Cs, sporting clubs, disability and aged-care programs, youth initiatives, community groups, volunteers and community events through Piece Of Cake Events.

You are not committing to any contribution, service, discount, sponsorship or attendance today. Your details simply help us understand what opportunities may be suitable for you in the future.

Piece Of Cake Events will only contact you when an opportunity becomes available that matches the options you have selected. No individual, business, service, club or organisation will ever be added to any fundraiser, event, referral, or collaboration without your explicit approval.

Our Community Expectations (Applies to All Categories)

    • Community-friendly pricing: Discounted or reduced rates for schools, clubs, disability programs and community events are warmly encouraged where possible.
    • Flexible participation: You may choose to offer discounts, vouchers, products, services, workshops, activities, demonstrations or other forms of support. You can also set limits that suit your business.
    • You always remain in control: All details, involvement, logistics and expectations are discussed with you before confirming any participation.

    Community Giving & Donation Opportunities

If your business or organisation ever has excess stock, flowers, roses, seasonal items, gifts, samples, small products, promotional items or goodie-bag suitable items, please feel welcome to let us know. There is almost always a school, sport club, disability program, aged-care service or volunteer organisation that would appreciate them.

    How These Contributions Help

These contributions support a wide range of community projects, including:

    • School fundraising stalls (e.g. Mother’s Day / Father’s Day stalls)
    • Raffles, awards and community celebrations
    • Youth programs, leadership and volunteer recognition
    • Aged-care and disability wellbeing initiatives
    • Clubs and teams with limited budgets
    • Local community and charity events

Piece Of Cake Events – Sponsorship & Community Support

Piece Of Cake Events works with local businesses, organisations, services and clubs to create custom sponsorship and community support opportunities for events, programs and initiatives. There is no fixed package or amount – every opportunity is tailored to the specific event and to your goals, values and budget.

    Support may include things like:

    • Products, vouchers, samples, prizes or giveaways
    • Event-day support, activities, stalls or demonstrations
    • Financial contributions towards programs, awards or initiatives
    • Promotional items or branded merchandise
    • Volunteer time, skills, training, workshops or mentoring

When a suitable opportunity arises, we will contact you with the event or project details, suggested options, timelines and any associated costs or commitments. You will always have the chance to ask questions, adjust the proposal or decline if the timing or fit isn’t right.

How Sponsors & Contributors May Be Acknowledged

Acknowledgement is always matched to the type of event or program, and may include:

    • Social media thank-you posts or tagged features
    • Logos on printed or digital materials (where applicable)
    • Event-day signage or announcements
    • Inclusion in programs, newsletters or community communications
    • Other fair and appropriate forms of recognition agreed with you in advance

    Larger Community Event Sponsorship

For major community events – such as festivals, gala nights, holiday clinics, council collaborations or city-wide youth and wellbeing initiatives – sponsorship opportunities may be managed under a separate event prospectus. This could include naming rights, branded activity stations, sponsored awards or youth leadership and recognition programs.

If you are interested in these larger opportunities, simply indicate this on your registration form or contact Fiona directly. We will then provide event-specific information when suitable projects are being planned.

Want to Talk About a Specific Event or Idea?

If you already have an idea in mind – for example, sponsoring a local clinic, program, fundraiser or community initiative – you are welcome to reach out to discuss it. Piece Of Cake Events can help match you with suitable schools, clubs or community projects and create a tailored sponsorship or support package.

You can get in touch via email or social media, or (where available) complete our short Event / Sponsorship Expression of Interest form and we will follow up with you.

Optional friendly note: Piece Of Cake Events is a small, family-run business led by a local mum of four. If you call, there may occasionally be children in the background – but you will always be speaking with a real person who genuinely cares about supporting our community. There are no silly questions. If you have an idea, concern or opportunity (big or small), please feel welcome to reach out and we can explore options together.

  • Welcome to the Piece Of Cake Events Community Hub!

By registering, you’re simply letting us know who you are, what you do, and how you might like to be involved in future community initiatives. Registration does not commit you to anything — it just helps us understand how we can support you, connect you with opportunities, or keep you informed about upcoming events, programs, and collaboration possibilities.

Your business may be featured on our social platforms as a new Community Partner, so please make sure you follow us to stay updated with opportunities, announcements, and local initiatives that may align with your brand.

If you see an opportunity, event, or partnership that interests you, you are more than welcome to reach out and say, “Hey, I’d love to be involved in this” — we love proactive humans! ✨

If in the future you wish to book support, sponsor an event, or request assistance, a simple booking or enquiry form will guide us through the details — and we’ll work with you to tailor options that make sense for your goals and capacity.

We’re here to help you connect, grow, and shine in the community — one collaboration at a time.

PS: Friendly warning — Piece Of Cake Events is run by a local mum of four, so if you call there’s a real chance you’ll hear background chaos, snack negotiations, or general kid-related mayhem. Not corporate — just real, human, community energy at its finest. There are no silly questions, so reach out anytime — we’re here to help!

  • Freelancers, Contractors & Performers

We welcome performers of all ages and experience levels. This includes musicians, dancers, speakers, artists, entertainers, instructors and creative service providers who wish to be part of community, school, sporting, disability or aged-care events.

Many of our opportunities are suitable for junior, intermediate and emerging performers who are still developing their skills. These performers are always matched with low-pressure, supportive environments where audiences understand that not all performances are by professionals.

We also welcome experienced and professional performers who wish to offer community-based work, reduced-fee sessions, or standard paid bookings.

If the performer is under 18, parent or guardian consent is required. This is managed through our existing youth/volunteer consent process.

  • Goodie Bag Voucher – One-Off Printed Code

Piece Of Cake Events can produce a single-use, one-off printed voucher promoting your discount or club offer. Each voucher will display your organisation’s name, website (if any), and contact number along with a unique verification code.

These vouchers are placed only inside selected school or community goodie bags. Goodie Bag vouchers are best suited for small, once-off promotional offers and do not provide the same visibility or ongoing engagement as our Piece Of Cake Community Savings Card (which can be redeemed up to three times per year by families and is used year-round).

Please keep in mind that Goodie Bag vouchers:

    • are printed in limited quantities
    • are redeemed once only by a single family
    • cannot be reused, copied, shared, or re-issued
    • offer minimal repeat engagement compared to Savings Card listings

If you prefer year-round visibility and repeat customer access, we recommend choosing to list an offer on the Piece Of Cake Community Savings Card instead.

  • Optional Savings Card Purchase

Participating businesses, service providers, contractors and volunteers are welcome, but not required, to purchase a Piece Of Cake Community Savings Card for personal use. Joining the program as a participating partner is free, and there is no cost to list an offer or to be included in the directory.

Purchasing a Savings Card is entirely optional and may be beneficial if you wish to personally redeem local offers and member benefits. Concession card holders receive their Savings Card free of charge.

    Partner-to-Partner Support (Optional):
We encourage a culture of mutual support between participating partners. One way to do this is to offer a slightly higher benefit to registered partners than to the general public.

For example, a business might offer a 20% discount to the general public, and a 25% discount to verified partners such as:

    • Small businesses registered with Piece Of Cake Events
    • Community partners
    • Contractors or providers
    • Registered volunteers

This example is provided as a suggestion only, not an instruction. You are free to structure your discount or promotion in any way that aligns with your business model, pricing, margin and values.

Thank you for helping us build a supportive, sustainable community where local people and businesses can thrive together.

  • How we may use your logo, photos and videos

By ticking the consent box above, you give Piece Of Cake Events permission to use your logo and any approved photos or videos of you/your act for promotional and partnership purposes, including (but not limited to):
    • Our website and online event listings
    • Social media posts and stories (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, reels and tiles)
    • Digital promotions such as email newsletters, online flyers or presentation slides
    • Printed materials such as posters, flyers, event programs, certificates or signage
    • Co-branded materials created with schools, clubs or community partners to promote events you are involved in
Your images and logo will only be used to promote events, programs or services connected to Piece Of Cake Events and our community partners. We will not sell your images or license them to unrelated third parties.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by notifying Piece Of Cake Events in writing. Withdrawal will apply to future use only and may not affect materials that have already been printed, posted or published.
