    Thank you for your interest in the Catholic Charities Oneida/Madison County Christmas Assistance Program.
    This program provides holiday gifts for eligible families residing in The City of Utica NY & Rome NY.

    Before continuing, please take a few moments to read the important information below.

    Application Process & Important Information
    🎄 Application Deadline:
    Applications will close on Friday, November 7th, 2025, or once we reach our maximum number of families — whichever comes first.
    No late applications will be accepted.
    💬 Eligibility:
    This program is intended for families residing in the City of Utica & Rome, who are not already enrolled in another Christmas Assistance Program (such as The Salvation Army, Connected Community Schools, or a local church program).
    If a family is found to be registered with multiple programs, they will be required to choose one and verify their selection before being considered.
    🎁 Important Notice:

    No specific gift or wish is guaranteed.
    Assistance from previous years does not guarantee approval this year.
    Gifts are distributed based on community donations, volunteer support, and available funding.
    🕒 Application Review:
    All applications are reviewed by our staff. Families who are approved will receive follow-up communication with scheduling details for gift pick-up.

    🚗 Gift Pick-Up Information
    There is no gift delivery option available.
    All approved families are responsible for obtaining transportation on their assigned distribution day to pick up their gifts at 1408 Genesee Street Utica NY 13502
    Gifts not claimed during the scheduled distribution period will be donated to another family in need.

    Please note: Family gifts are not guaranteed. These questions help our staff and donors learn more about your family’s interests in case additional items become available.
  • ❤️ Additional Assistance and Referrals Section

  • Some additional programs are available specifically for families with Medicaid coverage.
    If you are a Medicaid client, please provide your Medicaid CIN (Client Identification Number) below and complete the referral authorization form so we can connect you to additional supports through our partner network, Unite Us.

  • By providing your Medicaid CIN number, you authorize Catholic Charities to securely share your information with our partner network Unite Us (through Healthy Alliance) for service coordination.

  • 🥕 Food $en$e Information

    Food $en$e is a monthly food buying co-op that provides families with affordable meal boxes containing 12–15 staple grocery items for $20.50. Orders are placed in advance, and pickup occurs monthly at participating locations (including 1408 Genesee Street).

  • 🏕️ Camp Nazareth Information

  • Camp Nazareth is a summer camp operated by Catholic Charities of Oneida and Madison Counties, located in beautiful Woodgate, NY. It offers youth ages 8–15 a fun, faith-based outdoor experience that includes swimming, arts and crafts, sports, hiking, and team building. Financial assistance is available for eligible families.
