2026 Head Teachers' Leadership Academy Waitlist

We are inviting you to join our waiting list to participate in a Columba 1400 Head Teachers’ Leadership Academy in 2026. This is now fully funded thanks to support from the Scottish Government and The Hunter Foundation.

Participation is for Head Teachers' and Deputy Head Teachers' across Scotland from Additional Support Needs, Virtual Heads, Early Years, Primary and Secondary schools.

Your experience will include:

Phase One: Two online days provide preparation for the residential element, an opportunity to connect with tutors and the cohort, and discussion around values-based leadership.

Phase Two: Residential element at the Blair Estate, Dalry. Through individual and group sessions, senior leaders explore their own leadership and start a journey of transformation. Building confidence, connection, and a sense of the impact they can make in their schools and communities when they return.

Phase Three: A follow-up day, hosted by a participant in their school and led by Columban Tutors, helps the cohort reflect and build on their Columban HTLA experience. Graduates then join the HTLA alumni network across Scotland, staying connected through WhatsApp groups and regular gatherings that continue to develop leadership potential.
