  • Purpose

    The Sponsorship Application is an onboarding step to facilitate the approval, contracting, payment, and fulfillment process for corporate sponsors of World Sleep Society. 

    Please review the Corporate Sponsorship Prospectus for more information about the sponsorship process at World Sleep Society.

     

    Who Should Complete the Application

    This Sponsorship Application is for organizations that wish to engage with World Sleep Society on a World Sleep Day, Healthier Sleep, or Special Project Sponsorship.

    No pre-approval is required before submitting an application. The application can be submitted without prior contact, or you can submit it after consulting with World Sleep Society. 

    Note: If your organization has its own grant funding process that you intend to use for supporting a Program or Special Project, this application is not necessary. Please contact World Sleep Society for next steps. 

     

    Instructions

    Complete all required fields in the following pages.

    The application will ask for:

    • Company name and address for contracting or invoicing purposes
    • Company contact person
    • Sponsorship selections or areas of interest
    • Contracting and payment preferences (as appropriate for your company's business processes)

     

    Next Steps

    All applications are subject to review and approval by World Sleep Society before next steps. 

    World Sleep Society will review your application and contact the designated contact person with next appropriate steps, which could be a follow-up meeting, contract execution, or invoicing.

  • World Sleep Day

  • World Sleep Day sponsorships are structured by sponsorship level. Each sponsorship level includes a set of benefits. Find a description of the benefits and then select your desired sponsorship level below. 

    All World Sleep Day sponsors are recognized on worldsleepday.org and in relevant communications to World Sleep Society membership and World Sleep Day audiences. 

    Diamond Sponsors of World Sleep Day also qualify for corporate sponsorship status with World Sleep Society. This means that your company will also receive the Corporate Sponsor benefits: special recognition on worldsleepsociety.org and at the following World Sleep congress; opportunity to meet with World Sleep Society leadership; and individual memberships. 

  • Healthier Sleep

  • Healthier Sleep is open to sponsorship of special magazine issues that focus on a specific topic or theme. The sponsor may provide:

    • Theme or topic recommendations (e.g., "sleep health while traveling")
    • Up to 2 pages of advertising or promotional content within the magazine

    World Sleep Society provides:

    • Content writing
    • Magazine design
    • Digital distribution via email to World Sleep Society audiences and via healthiersleepmag.com. Issues are also available for print orders
    • Distribution and reproduction rights for the Sponsor to distribute the magazine as they wish 

    The final product is a complete issue of Healthier Sleep magazine. The sponsor will receive acknowledgment and recognition within the front matter. 

    World Sleep Society maintains editorial control of all content within Healthier Sleep.

    Sponsorship cost: 10,000 USD

  • Special Projects

  • Special Projects are activities that are relevant to the mission of World Sleep Society (WSS) but are not directly program-related.

    Special Projects may include (but are not limited to)

    • Educational modules in the Learning Center on special topics
    • Webinar series on a special topic
    • Writing and publication of a consensus paper
    • Collaborations with other professional associations

    WSS accepts proposals for Special Projects and can also advise potential sponsors on project purpose, scope, deliverables, and budget. Interested sponsors are encouraged to contact WSS for an introductory discussion.

    Special Projects may be funded through an existing grant program at your company or through a standard sponsorship contract.

  • Contract and Payment Information

  • World Sleep Society requires – and can provide – a contract for all sponsorship activities. 

    Contracting may also originate with the sponsor to better conform to the sponsoring company's business processes and compliance requirements.

  • Please click "Review Application" to confirm your application details. When ready, submit. You should receive an email copy of the application. 

  • Should be Empty:
