Indigenous Artisan and Workshop Facilitator | Entrepreneur | Tourism Professional

Indigenous artisan and workshop facilitator originally from Garden River First Nation. After spending many years in Akwesasne, where I lived, worked and raised my children, I now call Ottawa home.

The Workshops

The Moccasin Workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn the traditional art of moccasin. Participants will craft and construct their own pair of beautiful handmade moccasins, gaining not only new skills but also a deep sense of pride and connection.

Guided through a live ZOOM session, participants will learn how to create a custom pair of moocasins.

Breakdown: Sessions will occur every two weeks.

Week 1 - Vamp - Sewing the vamp and puckering
(1/2 hour - 1 hour or one side)

Week 2 - Vamp

Week 3 - Heel & Lining

Week 4 - Putting on the fur

First session: May 14th
