Victory Sports Summer Missionary (VSSM) Intern
The VSSM Intern position is designed for college students who desire to spend their summer serving on the mission field through Victory Sports. Each intern will raise support to serve as a paid summer missionary, committing to an eight-week ministry assignment with Victory Sports Camps throughout June and July.
College interns will be provided with host home housing during the summer. Local interns may either stay in a host home with other VSSMs or commute from their own home.
Victory Sports Camps serve as mission trips—offering sports camps in the mornings and Vacation Bible School (VBS) in the afternoons for children in grades 1–6.
As a VSSM Intern, You Will:
SERVE – Join the Victory Sports Summer Staff Team as a servant leader committed to sharing the Gospel and supporting our mission teams in doing the same. Each day will be full of purpose as you serve campers, communities, volunteers, mission teams, and fellow summer staff members.
LEAD – Strengthen your leadership skills as you help guide and supervise both the high school and college missionary programs. You’ll assist in leading mission teams through every aspect of camp, supported by Victory Sports leaders who will provide resources, training, and guidance.
GROW – Our deepest desire is that you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ this summer. You’ll be stretched and challenged in your faith as you serve others, embrace differences, and experience God’s transforming work in new and powerful ways.
Requirements & Next Steps:
To participate in the VSSM Intern Program, you must:
Commit to serving all eight weeks of Victory Sports Camps during June and July.
Demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others through ministry.
Be a current college student or recent graduate who is ready to lead and serve in a team environment.
Provide three references who can speak to your character, spiritual walk, and work ethic.
One reference must be from your youth pastor or senior pastor.
One reference should be a work reference (if not applicable, you may substitute an adult leader who knows you well).
