    Make a lasting difference by becoming a sponsor. Your monetary support directly benefits our literacy programs and helps us reach more children.

    Host a round-up campaign at your business and invite customers to round up their purchases to support STWN.

    ☕ Special Item Partner
    Feature a limited-time drink or menu item and donate a portion of the proceeds to STWN. It’s a fun and delicious way to give back!

  • Thank You for Joining the 2026 Book Drive Challenge!

    We’re excited to have you on board for this year’s Book Drive Challenge! Businesses, churches, and community groups of all sizes are invited to participate.

    Here’s how it works:
    Collect new or gently used children’s books and/or monetary donations throughout the month of April—from employees, customers, neighborhoods, and beyond. Your drive can be internal or public-facing. Get creative! Challenge a local competitor, host a themed book drive event, or come up with your own unique idea to gather support and make a difference.

    Win by Category:
    We’ll award special prizes to the top book-collecting organizations in each size category:

    1–50 members
    51–300 members
    301–500 members
    500+ members
    Please note: This is a fun and friendly competition—and all results are final.

    Want to boost your chances of winning?

    Update your book and/or donation count throughout April using our shared tracking form.

  • Book Drop Off Information

    We will be hosting a celebratory event for book drop offs on May 1st from 11am-4pm at America First Credit Union (1440 East Lincoln Way, Sparks, NV). * Please schedule your time for drop off below. Volunteers will be on site to help unload the book donations. If you are unable to attend on May 1st, please email Courtney at cvogt@stwn.org to schedule a time for drop off.

  • Community Book Drive Challenge Guidelines

    • Businesses and Community Groups can collect books/or monetary donations from April 1st - April 30th.
    • Each children's book will count as 1 point and every $1 donated will count as 1 point.
    • Download our sample flyer here and add your logo or create your own. The QR code on the flyer is the donation link for the Community Book Drive. 
    • There will be an opportunity for bonus points for updating weekly book counts on shared form and posting and tagging @SpreadtheWordNVNorthern on Facebook and Instagram.
    • Books must be dropped off on May 1st at the event or a drop off must be scheduled with the STWN office prior to May 8th. No books will be counted for competition if dropped off after May 8th. 
    • Winners will be those with the most points in each category based on number of employees or members (1-50, 51-300, 301-500, and 500+).
    • Winners will be announced on Monday, May 18th! 
    • All results are final. 
    • Most importantly thank you for joining us in advancing childhood literacy and HAVE FUN!
