Grant Overview
The following grant opportunities are available to Temiskaming Thunder Rep athletes for the 2025–2026 season. Athletes and/or parents/guardians may apply for one or more programs.
The Miller Realty Community Leadership & Financial Support Grant and Tato Recruiting Financial Support Grant is encouraged to be submitted by a parent/guardian on behalf of the athlete (unless the athlete is over 18 or under special circumstances wishes to apply independently). To ensure privacy, recipients of these Financial Support Grants will remain confidential. Names will not be disclosed publicly, nor shared with the athletes themselves, in order to safeguard equity for all applicants. Parents may choose to disclose to their child if they wish. Once the boys’ and girls’ rep teams are finalized, we will share the number of successful recipients (without naming individuals).
In contrast, recipients of the Miller Realty Her Future in Sport Grant and the Tato Recruiting Indigenous Leadership Grant will be publicly announced, as these initiatives are designed to raise awareness and create continuous opportunities for women in sport and Indigenous athletes in our area.
