Our Vision:
1. To disciple and mentor believers in being emptied of self and full of God.
2. To help them become more firmly grounded in the Scriptures.
3. To teach and inspire them to become effective workers in the kingdom of God.
4. To inspire them toward teamwork in missions and outreach.
5. To help them understand the kingdom principle of servant leadership.
6. To teach them to shepherd others.
7. To warn against many of the heresies that have crept into mainstream religion.
8. To practically equip students to engage in building God’s Kingdom
9. To instruct in principles of the function of the Holy Spirit in Kingdom work
Further Comments:
UWDS Field Practice assumes that students understand and have put into practice much of what was taught through the Foundations (Formerly called UWDS) course. The students will be expected to be self-motivated and to regulate their own high moral standards. The main goal of this course is to expose students to various types and methods of practical Kingdom work. Students are not expected to continue engaging in all of the different types of Kingdom work they are exposed to in the school, but they will have a foundation to start practically implementing numerous types of work the Lord may be calling them into.
