  • Hellensmusic is a chamber music festival that offers talented students a unique opportunity to learn from leading professionals in the classical music world. The programme is led by a prestigious team of world-renown musicians and spans seven intensive days of chamber music rehearsals, individual masterclasses and public performances. 

    Students are invited to perform alongside their tutors in the festival's main evening concerts, taking part in chamber music ensembles with both teachers and peers. The programme stands out for its deeply enriching musical and educational experience, which blends rigorous and informal learning, fostering interpersonal relationships and a vibrant sense of community.

    There are vacancies for piano, violin, viola, cello, clarinet, oboe, bassoon and horn students who are at advanced music conservatory level and seriously preparing for a performing career in music, ages 18-26.

      2. Either one movement of a major concerto, sonata or other substantial work from the Romantic to present era.

  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    Hellensmusic 2026 Programme runs from 2pm May 4 to 6pm May 10.

    Attending students are requested to arrive on Monday May 4 by 1pm and stay until Sunday May 10 after the final concert in the afternoon.

    By attending the course students agree to:

    • Be present for the full festival week (dates mentioned above) 
    • Take part on all activities as suggested by the artistic directors
    • Prepare the music parts for the festival in advance, for work in both chamber music and individual sessions
    • There is a £300 fee as confirmation of attendance. We cover all costs related to masterclass fees, and provide accommodation and meals during the course.
    • Transportation costs are not covered by Hellensmusic.
