    It is a mandatory requirement that any Exhibitor or Contractor wishing to gain access into the halls when CDM is in operation reads the Site Induction document.

  • GENERAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

    • The wearing of high-vis vests throughout the site during build and breakdown is MANDATORY.  

    • Suitable footwear must be worn at all times during the build and breakdown. Open-toe shoes are NOT permitted. 

    • Be AWARE of vehicles moving around the site. The use of vehicles throughout the site is constant during the event build and breakdown.

    • You MUST have all PPE as indicated in your own risk assessments and use it where deemed necessary.

    • Please ensure that all designated emergency gangways are kept clear to allow free flow of cleaning vehicles, forklift movement and emergency vehicles.

    • Do NOT work under suspended loads or within a lifting exclusion zone unless authorised to do so.

    • Keep the place you are working tidy – avoid slips, trip and falls.

    • All site-wide safety signage and notices must be observed and obeyed.

    • No one must interfere with anything provided in the interest of health, safety, and welfare.

    • Under no circumstances are any persons under the age of 16 permitted on site.

    • No lone working should take place on site at any time. If you feel this may be necessary, please contact the Operations Manager to discuss further.

    • See something unsafe? – REPORT IT WITHOUT DELAY to the Organisers' Office.

    • Report accidents and near misses – even minor ones – to the Organiser’s Office immediately, it could prevent a more serious one.

    • Please note: It is the exhibitor's & Stand contractors responsibility to remove all stand materials, packaging, and waste from the hall. Any Waste left in the halls will be charged back to the exhibitor at £500 + VAT.
