The Center for Healthy Aging is hosting an in-person workshop titled, "Advancing the Science of Menopause," a day dedicated to advancing understanding of women’s health during midlife and beyond. The event will feature a keynote address by Dr. Rebecca Thurston, a nationally recognized leader in women’s health research whose work has transformed the field’s understanding of menopause, cardiovascular disease, and brain aging in women.

Dr. Thurston’s pioneering studies use innovative wearable technology to uncover how hot flashes, sleep disturbances, and trauma histories are linked to cardiovascular and cognitive health outcomes. Her insights continue to shape the scientific and clinical landscape of women’s health across the lifespan.

The workshop will include a variety of presentations from researchers exploring the biological, psychological, and social dimensions of menopause.

Breakfast, snacks, and a catered lunch will be provided as well as opportunities for discussion and collaboration.
