Student Waitlist Responsibilities
By submitting this request form, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the student waitlist responsibilities listed below:
1. Students will be notified if their waitlist request has been approved or denied via email.
2. It is your responsibility to read the waitlist policy and understand what requests are not accepted (section changes, preferred instructors, requests for courses in which you do not meet requirements for enrollment).
3. Students should continue monitoring Howdy for open seats in Finance courses.
4. It is your responsibility to indicate in the waitlist form if you want a course dropped from your current course schedule to accommodate your waitlist request. Advisors WILL NOT consider enrolling you in the requested conflicting course unless indicated on your request.
5. Work conflicts for waitlist consideration can qualify for higher priority consideration with a signed letter or email from your supervisor that includes their contact information. You can send this email or letter to cduhon@mays.tamu.edu.
6. If you decide you do not want to enroll in the course you requested, you may email cduhon@mays.tamu.edu. If the course has already been added to your schedule, then you will be responsible for dropping the class from your schedule.
7. Undergraduate students are restricted to registering for a maximum of 19 hours. . If needing more than 19 hours, email your advisor to determine if you can increase your maximum hours or identify a course to drop to take later.
8. It is your responsibility to know the add/drop deadlines, and to make sure the schedule you have is the one you intend to have before those deadlines expire.
