  • Player & Caregiver Agreement

  • Welcome to the Lancaster FNC, we're thrilled to have you joining us in 2026!

The Lancaster Football Netball Club (LFNC) takes pride in creating a supportive and respectful environment for all players. We are committed to creating an environment where all players experience success in a team-focused and inclusive atmosphere, and where every individual is encouraged to bring their best attitude and effort to the court and club.

  • Communication

  • The primary source of communication from your coach and team manager will be the '2026 Players & Caregivers' Facebook group for your grade, which will be established before the season's commencement. If you do not receive an invitation to join, please notify your team manager.

There will also be a second Facebook group to join called '2026 Lancaster Netball', where club netball communications, such as canteen and scoring rosters, will be shared.

Please also follow the main Lancaster Football Netball Club Facebook page for whole club updates, weekly awards, and celebrations.

  • LFNC Membership & VNA

  • LFNC players are required to purchase a LFNC Membership. Each junior membership includes two parent/caregiver memberships that allow admission to all home games, and all under-16s receive free gate entry at all clubs.

Information on how to purchase your membership will appear on the LFNC Facebook page during the pre-season.

All netball players must also register and pay for Victorian Netball Association (VNA) membership for insurance purposes. Details on how to complete this will also be available on Facebook, and your team manager is available to assist if needed.

  • Uniform

  • All LFNC players are required to wear the Lancaster netball dress; the club provides this on loan, and it must be returned after the last game of every season. LFNC can be fined by the league if uniform requirements aren't followed on game day.

Players are to provide their own black bike shorts, sneakers, and official LFNC socks. LFNC socks are available to purchase at Bennetts Sports in Kyabram.

All LFNC players are also invited to purchase a training top or other official LFNC apparel. Orders for training tops are taken at the start of the season; notifications will appear in the general 2026 Lancaster Netball Facebook group.

Some common items of apparel, such as the blue Wombats Hoodie and polo t-shirt, can be purchased from the club rooms (see your team manager); however, this is dependent on sizing and availability.

  • Player Commitment

  • As a member of an LFNC team, you are expected to:

    • Attend all training sessions and games—please notify your coach as early as possible if you are unable to attend due to illness or holiday.
    • Arrive on time to training and games, with a full drink bottle, required medication (e.g. Ventolin), and a positive attitude.
    • Adhere to rosters for canteen, scoring, and time-keeping duties, and help with any pack-up or set-up duties that your team is responsible for. If you are unable to attend an allocated duty, it is your responsibility to arrange a swap or replacement. If this is not possible, please discuss with the roster coordinator and never leave a duty unattended. Many hands make light work; pitching in around the club is an important part of being an LFNC player and is what makes LFNC the vibrant, friendly club that it is.
    • Commit to improving and maintaining personal fitness levels.
    • Listen to the coach's instructions to improve your performance and enjoyment.
    • Chatting with your friends while the coach or team manager is speaking impacts those around you. Please avoid doing so at all times (but don't worry, there will be lots of appropriate times to have a chat or a laugh).
    • Be attentive, respectful, and supportive of coaches, team managers, and teammates.
    • Respect umpires and their decisions at all times (adjust, adjust, adjust!).
    • Wear the correct uniform and footwear as listed above, as we are penalised by the league if you don't.
    • Report any injuries or medical conditions to the club, providing updates as needed.
    • Support club fundraising activities and attend functions where possible.
  • Caregiver Commitment

  • As the caregiver of a LFNC team member, we ask that you:

    • Ensure your child attends and arrives on time to all trainings and games (except when unwell). Notify the coach or team manager early if absent.
    • Support your child’s participation by focusing on effort and enjoyment.
    • Respect all coaches, team managers, officials, and other players. Please refrain from coaching from the sidelines during a game; however, positive cheering is encouraged!
    • Volunteer for fundraising activities and/or club roles where possible - many hands make light work.
    • Model good sportsmanship, always respecting the roles of all club volunteers.
    • Communicate your child’s injuries or medical conditions to the team manager, with regular updates.
    • Abide by the Players & Caregivers Code of Conduct and support your child positively.
    • Sharing the load is a crucial element in ensuring the LFNC continues to thrive. You will be required to attend canteen duty and scoring duty throughout the year (please organise a fill-in if you cannot attend).
    • If your child is 15 & Under, or below, they may attend and help out on canteen duty; however, they must have an adult in attendance.
    • On scoring duty days, we also ask that your family do the most important job of the day—supply the lollies to top up the lolly box.
  • Code Of Coduct

  • All players & caregivers will be required to sign the LFNC Players & Caregivers Code of Conduct prior to the commencement of the season. Your team manager will provide you with more information on this.

  • Concerns & Dispute Resolution

  • The Lancaster Football Netball Club is built on volunteerism; every coach, team manager, official and volunteer is giving up their time to ensure our players have the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of playing netball. It is understandable, however, that on occasions you may disagree with your coach, team manager, team mate, or officials' decision-making, and we encourage all concerns to be discussed openly and respectfully.

    We therefore ask that you deal with any concerns or disputes using the process below;

    1. Approach your team manager in person at training or outside of game time. Alternatively, you can also contact your team manager via Facebook Messenger to raise your concern.

    2. If your concern is specific to a coaching issue, please still raise this with your team manager, and an appropriate time to discuss with the coach will be organised. Please do not raise concerns with a coach on game day.

    3. If the issue is unresolved, please discuss with the Junior Netball Coordinator, Lisa Booth, in person or via FB Messenger.

    4. If the issue remains unresolved, we encourage you to make contact with the Grievance Officer, as per the LFNC Concerns & Grievances Policy.

  • Court Time

  • All players will receive court time during the home and away season; however, court time will be commensurate with player effort, work rate, commitment, stakes of the game, and individual zone of development.

Finals will be a matter for coaches and individual teams to decide.

  • Agreement

  • This agreement represents official acceptance of your position at the Lancaster Football Netball Club.

By signing this agreement, you are also agreeing to abide by the rules and guidelines set out by LFNC, Kyabram & District League and Netball Victoria.

  • We welcome you to the home of The Wombats, and can't wait to see what 2026 brings!
