Please upload as many photos as possible of the space that needs our help — wide shots, close-ups, and if you can, high photos from upstairs windows to show scale. The more photos you share, the better we can understand the need.

  • Filming & Media Agreement

  • Mountain Garden Rescue is a filmed garden rescue project. If your nomination is selected, photos and videos may be taken before, during, and after the work, and may be used publicly on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, the Mountain Garden Rescue website, and other Mountain-related channels or promotional materials.

Appearing on camera may be part of the project, including arrival, discussion of the garden, progress updates, reactions, and before/after footage.

Children’s faces will not be shown publicly and will be blurred where needed. Adults may request that faces, names, house numbers, registration plates, or other identifying details are blurred or not shown where reasonably possible.

Filming and public use of the project footage is required for Mountain Garden Rescue to consider the nomination.

    • Mountain Garden Rescue – Nomination Terms & Conditions
By submitting a nomination to Mountain Garden Rescue, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

      1) Eligibility
Nominations are open to individuals, families, or community spaces located within the United Kingdom.
Nominators must provide accurate location and contact details.
Nominators must have permission from the property owner (if not themselves) to submit the nomination and photos.

      2) Nomination Process
Nominations must be submitted through the official online form.
Submissions should include clear details of the individual, family, or space being nominated, and why they need a helping hand.
Photos are required to help us assess the project. Wide shots, close-ups, and, if possible, overhead photos (e.g., from upstairs windows) are strongly encouraged.
Typical nominations include overgrown gardens, neglected outdoor areas, driveways, or community spaces in need of transformation.

      3) Selection Process
Mountain Garden Rescue will review nominations and select projects at its sole discretion, based on:

      The level of need.
The potential impact of the transformation.
The suitability of the project for our team and resources.
      Location and scheduling.
Our decision is final, and we may not be able to provide feedback on individual nominations.

      4) Assistance Provided
The scope and nature of the work will be decided by Mountain Garden Rescue.
If selected, the nominee (or property owner) must allow us access to the space.
By accepting assistance, you agree that photos and video will be taken before, during, and after the project.

      5) Publicity & Media
By participating, you agree that Mountain Garden Rescue may use photos, videos, and stories from the project on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms linked to the Mountain channels.
Content may also be used in promotional or marketing materials.
Recipients agree to appear in the content, but may request to be blurred or not personally identified if they prefer.

      6) Data & Privacy
Personal details collected during the nomination process will only be used for reviewing and managing the project.
Data will never be sold or shared with third parties, except as required by law.
Information will be stored securely and deleted within a reasonable timeframe once the project is complete.

      7) Liability
While every effort will be made to carry out work safely and professionally, Mountain Garden Rescue cannot be held responsible for accidental damage or injury, except in cases of proven negligence.
