    Please fill out this form to the best of your knowledge to host a 2026 Run/Walk on the Detroit Riverwalk, Dequindre Cut, or other associated green spaces. The deadline to request to hold an Run/Walk is December 1, 2025.
  • Applicant Information

    The main applicant should be a representative from the organization coordinating the Run/Walk and its payment. Please include event producers in the secondary contact field.
  • Run/Walk Information

    Please provide all information regarding your request to hold a Run/Walk on the Detroit Riverfront.
  • The following dates are unavailable for Run/Walk events:

  • Please provide an anticipated timeframe for your event.

    All Runs/Walks staged on Conservancy property are provided 6 hours for your event - 2 hours for set up, 2 hours for tear down, 2 hours for your event. If your event takes place on Milliken State Park Property - total time for set up/tear down is determined by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

  • Acknowledgements and Authorizations

    Please review the statements below for a successful Run/Walk. You will receive confirmation of your requested date in early January.
  • Event Catering
    The Conservancy has an exclusive caterer for our café at Cullen Plaza, Robert C. Valade Park, and Mt. Elliott Park. If you plan to have any food or beverage products outside of individually packaged snacks (e.g. bananas, granola bars, fruit snacks, etc.) or bottled water at your Run/Walk, you are encouraged to use our exclusive caterer and to make your arrangements directly with our caterer. If you desire to use any other vendor/sponsor/donor to provide food or beverages outside of individually packaged snacks or bottled water, a fee of $1,000.00, payable to the Conservancy, will be required 30 days prior to the Run/Walk.

  • Audio and Power Requirements
    The Conservancy has limited 110v power available which includes 4 outlets. Any additional power will require generators. Commercial generators require a permit from the City of Detroit. Audio that transmits over 200 yards will required a city of Detroit permit.
