What is the budget form for?
Please complete the budget form if you are applying for monetary funding through the Dig In! Community Garden Grant. In this form, you are asked to detail what you intend to spend any monetary funding on in 2026.
If you would like City Green to procure materials for you (from the in-kind garden menu), do not complete this form. Instead, please indicate what garden items you would like City Green to purchase for you in the application.
How much funding can you request?
Community Organization Applicants
- First-Time Grantee - up to $3,000
- Second-Time Grantee - up to $1,250
- 3+ Year Grantee - up to $750
Municipal Applicants
- First-Time Grantee - up to $5,000
- Second-Time Grantee - up to $2,000
- 3+ Year Grantee - up to $1,000
Examples of garden expenses to request funding for:
- Raised Beds (building materials or pre-made)
- Irrigation supplies
- Plants, seeds, and seedlings
- Fencing
- Additional site prep (site leveling/resurfacing etc.)
