    • Fishing Tournament Organizer Terms and Conditions


      By registering and submitting payment to host a Shake-A-Leg Miami Fishing Tournament (“Tournament”), the organizer agrees to the following Terms and Conditions:


      1. Organizer Responsibility

      • The organizer is responsible for all participants in their Tournament, including ensuring compliance with safety rules, environmental guidelines, and event regulations.
      • Minors participating must have parental or legal guardian consent, and the organizer must ensure supervision.

      2. Assumption of Risk

      • The organizer acknowledges that fishing and boating activities carry inherent risks, including accidents, injuries, and weather-related hazards.
      • The organizer agrees to assume all such risks on behalf of themselves and their participants and will not hold Shake-A-Leg Miami, its staff, volunteers, or affiliates liable.

      3. Safety Requirements

      • The organizer must ensure all participants follow safety instructions provided by Shake-A-Leg Miami staff and adhere to U.S. Coast Guard boating regulations.
      • Life jackets must be used as required, and alcohol or drug consumption before or during the Tournament is strictly prohibited.

      4. Environmental Responsibility

      • The organizer must ensure that no fish remains, bait, trash, or other waste are disposed of near the dock, marina, or Shake-A-Leg Miami facilities.
      • Improper disposal attracts wildlife to areas where children and families are present, creating safety hazards.
      • All waste must be disposed of properly in designated areas. Failure to comply may result in disqualification or loss of future hosting privileges.


      5. Conduct and Sportsmanship

      • The organizer is responsible for maintaining respectful behavior among participants toward staff, volunteers, other participants, and the environment.
      • Any harassment, unsafe behavior, or damage to property may result in event termination and organizer accountability.


      6. Event Changes

      • Shake-A-Leg Miami reserves the right to postpone, modify, or cancel the Tournament due to unsafe weather or unforeseen circumstances.
      • Refunds or rescheduling options will be provided at the organization’s discretion.


      7. Media Release

      • By hosting the Tournament, the organizer grants Shake-A-Leg Miami, and other third parties, permission to photograph, film, or record the event and participants for promotional, educational, or public relations purposes without compensation.


      8. Liability Waiver

      • The organizer releases Shake-A-Leg Miami, its employees, volunteers, sponsors, and partners from any claims or liabilities arising from hosting or participation in the Tournament.


      9. Agreement

      • By submitting this form and payment, the organizer confirms they have read, understood, and agree to abide by all Terms and Conditions outlined above.
