The following Terms and Conditions are expected to be read thoroughly for your entry to be valid.
Please see signature box at the bottom of this form to digitally sign indicating you accept and agree to the UK Agility International (UKI), UK Agility Ltd Terms and Conditions.
By entering this event, you, as the entrant, acknowledge that you are authorized to act on behalf of both yourself and any other UK Agility International (UKI) members who will participate under your entry.
1. Assumption of Risk & Liability
By entering this event, the handler/owner certifies that any and all dogs brought to the event, whether participating or not, do not pose a hazard to persons, dogs, or property.
As the owner of any dog entered in this event, its duly authorized agent or handler of any dog (collectively, the “Handler”), and in consideration of participation in this event, the Handler agree(s) to adhere to UK Agility International rules and regulations and any additional rules and regulations that may be set forth herein (the “Rules”). By entering this event, Handler hereby agrees to indemnify and hold UK Agility International and UK Agility, Ltd., (collectively, “UKI”), their agents, officers, directors and employees, event hosts, trial secretary, judges and their assistants, harmless from and against any and all losses and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees and costs) that may be imposed upon it or them, resulting from Handler’s participation in this event, including but not limited to any claims or demands for loss or injury alleged to have been caused to any equipment or any dog or person while in attendance at this event, and to accept full responsibility therefor.
2. Hazards & Safety
Handler acknowledges all potential hazards associated with the training facility, event, and premises, including but not limited to:
· The condition of the grounds
· The presence of unfamiliar animals and people
· Lighting and security measures (or lack thereof)
· The presence of other dogs
· Electrical appliances and fittings
· The risk of exposure to illness
· Parking areas, camping areas and fencing
· The potential for a dog to escape from the training or competition area
· Agility equipment
· Course design and course set up
· Weather conditions including any other ‘Acts of God
By entering, Handler voluntarily assumes any and all risks associated with these hazards and any other potential hazards not listed. All participants must exercise caution, monitor their dogs, and clean up after themselves and their animals.
3. Conduct & Enforcement
UK Agility International reserves the right to:
· Excuse any participant for what it deems excessive harshness toward a dog and for behavior considered aggressive or abusive toward another person or dog.
· Revoke, suspend, or ban any entry or membership in its sole discretion if deemed necessary to protect the interests of UKI and any of its associates, agents, officers, or members.
Participation in UKI events, including membership, is a PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT. UK Agility International has full authority to impose suspensions or bans upon any member without prior notice.
4. Rules & Regulations
By entering, Handler agrees to comply with all UK Agility International Rules & Regulations, including any amendments. Additionally, Handler confirms that:
· Handler will not bring any dog that has been exposed to an infectious or contagious disease within 21 days prior to the event.
· To the best of Handler’s knowledge, your dog is not subject to disqualification under UK Agility International show regulations.
· Handler accepts full responsibility for the safety of both Handler and Handler’s dog(s).
