      A bridge builder is an individual who fosters connections and reconciliation between different people, groups, or opposing parties, promoting understanding, communication, and collaboration.

      Community Advocate

      A community advocate is an individual who passionately supports and works to improve the well-being of their community, often addressing social issues, promoting positive change, and empowering residents through voice, action, and leadership. This may also include a parish community.

      Hospitality Advocate

      A hospitality advocate is someone who passionately promotes and champions exceptional service, warm welcomes, and memorable experiences for guests and customers in various settings like hotels, restaurants, cafes, and other welcoming spaces. This may also include a parish community.

      Neighborly Outreach Advocate

      A neighborly outreach advocate is someone who actively promotes kindness, connection, and support among neighbors, fostering a sense of community through friendly interactions, helpful gestures, and caring initiatives that bring people closer together.

      Selfless Volunteer

      A selfless volunteer is someone who generously gives their time, energy, and resources to help others without expecting anything in return, driven by compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. 

      Dedicated Caregiver

      A dedicated caregiver is someone who provides compassionate, consistent, and often selfless care and support to individuals in need, such as the elderly, children, or those with illnesses or disabilities, prioritizing their well-being and comfort with empathy and devotion.

      Nomination Periods
      · January 1 – January 15, 2026: Nominations open for 2023 Award Winners.

      · January 16 – February 28, 2026: Nominations open to the public.

      · February 28, 2026: Nominations close at 5:00 PM (Central Standard Time).

      Nominee & Winner Confirmation
      · March 27, 2026: Deadline for nominees to accept and confirm their nomination.

      · April 30, 2026: Winners are selected.

      · May 15, 2026: Last day for winners to confirm acceptance.

      · May 30, 2026: Winners are officially announced on the Carlos Michael website.

      Ticket Sales Timeline
      June 1 – June 14, 2026: "Early Bird" tickets available for purchase.

      $35 per person

      $200 per round table (seats 8)

      June 14, 2026: "Early Bird" ticket sales end at 5:00 PM (Central Standard Time).

      June 15 – July 15, 2026: Full price tickets available.

      $50 per person

      $300 per round table (seats 8)

      July 15, 2026: All ticket sales end at 5:00 PM (Central Standard Time).

      Tickets must be purchased online. Ticket price includes admission, two door prize raffle tickets, dinner, award ceremony, complimentary beverages, and entertainment.

      CANO Awards Ceremony
      August 15, 2026: Carlos Michael CANO Awards event held from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
