  • CLIENT ENGAGEMENT/CONTRACT

TAXPREPBOSS and Amanda is not responsible if the taxpayer provides us with incorrect information (i.e., social security numbers for self, spouse, or dependents, last names, birth dates). This may delay your refund.  Amanda is not responsible for any IRS audits. All information obtained from the taxpayer and/or spouse must be presentable if the IRS audits your tax return.  Preparer is not responsible for any incorrect tax figures provided by the taxpayer and/or spouse. If your tax figures change you will need to file an Amendment. Prices Vary. If an amend results in $0 refund, you are still responsible for tax preparation fees (min $200). If you have any federal or government debts (i.e., school loans, child support, DPP, DFCS, etc.) There is a chance that your refund will be applied towards your debt. You can call the offset department at 1-800-304- 3107 or 1-800-829-7650 to see if your refund will be partially or fully taken.

By choosing to have tax preparation fees deducted from your refund, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

    1. Your tax refund will be processed through a third-party bank, which will receive the funds from the IRS before disbursing them to you.

    2. The third-party bank will deduct all applicable fees in the following order: Tax software fees

    Bank processing fees

    Filing fees

    Tax preparation fees

Remaining refund amount (if any) paid to the taxpayer

    3. If your refund is reduced by the IRS for any reason (e.g., offsets, adjustments, audits), the required fees will still be deducted in the order listed above. This means that in some cases, the fees may exhaust the entire refund, leaving little to no payout to you.

    4. You understand that you are responsible for any unpaid tax preparation fees if your refund does not fully cover them.

If your refund is fully taken or you received a direct check from IRS you are responsible for paying the preparation fees. In consideration for tax preparation services rendered , you agree to promptly pay all tax preparation fees and associated charges. In the event of non-payment within five business days from receipt of the refund, you authorizes direct debit/or ACH draft from your account.
