Measure from the lowest floor to the exit floor vertically

Maximum total run: How long can the stair extend without interference.

Stair opening: Rectangular opening in the second floor, length and width
This measurement is required for the balcony railing.
Receiving beam (critical): This is the height of the beam where the stair is going to be leaning against. Normally it is around 12 inches including the floor thickness.
