Deep Dish Chicken Pot Pie w/ A Simple Green Salad. Some dishes are trying to impress you. This one is trying to hug you. Our deep dish chicken pot pie is packed with tender chicken breast and a generous heap of vegetables. It’s all folded into a silky white wine gravy that’s been simmered with fresh herbs until the whole kitchen smells like someone’s favorite grandmother just walked in. Then it’s tucked under a golden, flaky crust that crackles when your fork breaks through. It’s deep dish because we believe a pot pie should have a point of view. No skimpy fillings and no gravy that wanders off, just a proper, hearty, scoop-it-up-and-sigh kind of dinner. On the side, a simple green salad, because balance is important and so is pretending you’re a person who eats salad before pie. Crisp, bright, lightly dressed, and exactly enough to make seconds feel reasonable. It’s cozy, it’s classic, and it’s just fancy enough that you can say “white wine gravy” at the dinner table without anyone questioning your life choices.

Orange Chipotle Honey nut Cabbage Salad w/ Rotisserie Chicken. Cabbage has been underestimated for far too long. We’re fixing that. We start by sautéing it until it’s silky and just barely caramelized at the edges, which turns this humble hero into something you’ll want to keep eating long after you’re full. Then we pile on tender rotisserie chicken, earthy lentils for staying power, sweet shredded carrots, and toasted walnuts that crunch like they’ve got something to prove. Fresh herbs go over the top to keep it all bright and lively. The dressing is the real showstopper: orange chipotle with a drizzle of honey. It’s sweet, citrusy, a little smoky, and just spicy enough to make you sit up straight. It’s the kind of dressing you’ll want to drink, and we won’t judge if you swipe the container with a spoon. It’s hearty enough to be dinner, pretty enough to photograph, and healthy enough that you can feel quietly smug about it. Crunchy, cozy, smoky, sweet, and surprisingly filling.

Stracotto & Baked Polenta. Stracotto is Italian for “overcooked,” and in this case that’s the highest compliment we can pay a pot roast. We take a beautiful cut of beef and roast it low and slow with tomatoes, red wine, garlic, and herbs until it surrenders completely. It’s fork-tender and falls apart if you so much as look at it, in a deep, glossy sauce that tastes like it’s been simmering since Sunday. It all goes over baked polenta, creamy in the middle with golden edges and perfect for catching every last drop of that sauce. Think of it as the cozy, candlelit cousin of mashed potatoes, with better posture and an Italian accent. It’s rustic, it’s romantic, and it’s the kind of dinner that makes the house smell like someone who loves you has been cooking all day (someone has).

Brie & Cheddar Butternut Squash Beer Soup w/ Giant Pretzels from Das Alpenhaus . This is what happens when butternut squash goes to Oktoberfest and has the time of its life. We roast the squash until it’s sweet and deeply caramelized, then simmer it with a splash of beer for a little malty depth. Creamy brie and sharp cheddar get stirred in until the whole pot turns velvety, golden, and dangerously easy to finish. It’s autumn in a bowl, with just enough beer in it to make it interesting. Then comes the best part: giant, soft, chewy pretzels from our friends at Das Alpenhaus, with that glossy mahogany crust and a little salt crunch. They’re made for dunking, tearing, and swiping through every last drop of soup. Soup is the reason you showed up, and the pretzel is the reason you stay. It’s cozy, cheesy, a little bit boozy, and big enough to be dinner on its own. Sweater weather finally has a menu.

Autumn Delicata Squash Salad. Vegetarian, yes. But with this much going on, nobody’s going to notice. We start with dino kale, massaged until it’s tender and happy, then pile on roasted delicata squash with its crisp, caramelized edges and sweet potatoes roasted until they’re jammy at the center. Crispy shallots bring the savory depth, creamy avocado adds the lush, and pomegranate seeds scatter across the top like little ruby fireworks. Crumbled feta brings a salty, tangy bite, and toasted sunflower seeds add a nutty crunch. Every bite is sweet, savory, crunchy, and creamy all at once. It’s all pulled together with a bright maple citrus vinaigrette that’s tangy, a little sweet, and just sharp enough to keep everything lively. It’s the kind of dressing that makes you wonder why you ever bought the bottled stuff. It’s hearty, it’s gorgeous, and it tastes like the best parts of fall showed up on one plate. You’ll feel good, you’ll look like you have your life together, and you’ll be asking for it again next week.

  • Olive & Pearl exists because of you.

Your trust, your enthusiasm, your belief in food made with care and intention. It is an honor to cook for your table.

My business has grown in the most meaningful way possible, through word of mouth, shared meals, and generous referrals from clients I deeply appreciate. If there is someone in your life who would love Olive & Pearl, I would be so grateful for the introduction.

As a small thank you, I would love to gift you a jar of my Orange Spiced Bourbon Syrup. Beautiful poured into coffee or tea, tucked into cocktails. A little sweetness, from my kitchen to yours, in appreciation.

Thank you for supporting Olive & Pearl and for being part of this story.

It truly would not exist without you.

    With warmth,

    Ollie
