  • Radiant Resilience Pendant

This necklace features a delicate lotus flower, a timeless symbol of resilience and renewal. Just as the lotus rises from murky waters to bloom with unmatched beauty, it reminds us that even through life’s toughest challenges, we can emerge stronger and more radiant than before.

That symbolism reflects the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital which is a place where children and families facing the darkest circumstances are met with hope, healing, and the promise of brighter tomorrows. Every breakthrough, every new treatment, and every moment of joy that St. Jude creates is like a lotus flower unfolding—proof that from struggle can come extraordinary beauty and new beginnings.

Hi, I’m Bailey Rideout. I’m a watercolor artist and designer who loves creating artwork that carries meaning as well as beauty. I pull a lot of inspiration from nature, relationships, and life experiences, and I strive to weave those themes into my work so it connects on a deeper level. For me, design is about more than just how something looks, it’s about the story behind it and the emotion it sparks in the person who experiences it.

This design was inspired by my own journey through life changes and challenges that reshaped my future in ways I never expected. The lotus flower represents resilience and strenght, the ability to rise from difficult circumstances and bloom into something beautiful. Lotus flowers thrive in poor growing conditions. I’ve learned that even when life takes unexpected turns, the future can hold brightness, growth, and new beginnings. I wanted this piece to carry that message of hope and possibility, reflecting not only my personal story but also the strength and courage I see in the children and families at St. Jude.

  • True North

The freeform design is a loose interpretation of a compass baring with gold wiring accenting the movement and shape of the piece. It hangs from a high polished, tapered bail. The whole pendant measures approximately 25mm in length from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant.

True North Pendant – Inspiration & Design
The True North pendant is a tribute to the grounding power of family and the quiet guidance they provide. Inspired by the deep roots of a family tree and the steady direction of a compass, the design blends organic movement with subtle navigation motifs. Flowing gold wires trace a freeform path reminiscent of branching roots and cardinal lines, while a luminous 5 mm round brilliant lab-grown diamond—framed in a yellow-gold bezel—shines at the center as a guiding light. Graduated accent diamonds (1 mm to 2.5 mm) add sparkle like stars on a night sky, reinforcing the theme of orientation and connection. Suspended from a high-polish, tapered bail, the 25 mm pendant embodies both elegance and meaning: a wearable reminder that family is one’s true north.

I am originally from northern Indiana where I grew up in a very big, loud and loving family! I now live in Newburgh with my amazing husband Collin and two cats "Mr. Man" and "Squeaky". I have been an actress all of my life but have recently in the last 5 years had found a real passion for design in all aspects. Social media, marketing, art, graphics...Really anything I can be creative is something I love and look forward to!

The inspiration behind everything I do has always been my family. My parents have always called each other their "True North" so this is truly an ode to their strength, love and guidance.
