Klamath Falls City Schools will form a District Equity Committee and we invite you to apply or to nominate someone else. Only people who attend, work at, or reside within the Klamath Falls City Schools District boundary are eligible for participation.

Membership on this 5–10 member committee will be representative of our diverse student groups and include mostly parents and guardians. The District Equity Committee will advise the Superintendent in matters relating to the success of all students in terms of policies, education, and student experiences.

The Superintendent will select committee members from completed applications.

Nominations must be completed and submitted by November 6, 2025, for consideration. Nominees selected for the committee will be notified by November 10, 2025. The first Meeting will be held on November 12, 2025 at 5:00 PM.

What is the Klamath Falls City Schools District Equity Committee?
The KFCS District Equity Committee will advise the Superintendent in matters relating to the success of all students in terms of policies, education, and student experiences.

Why did you ask which student group I represent?
ORS 329.711 and OAR 581-022-2307 define student groups to be represented in the District Equity Committee. The membership in this committee must overrepresent underserved student groups.
